In Friday's league outing, the Bossier Bearkats (Bossier City, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), by a count of 63-39.

The Bearkats (16-9) will now prepare for their outing against Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA). The Knights go into the 4A District 1 outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Woodlawn-Shreveport was crushed by Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA), 43-41, in a league outing.

The Griffins now hold a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Minden for a 4A District 1 outing on Tuesday, February 7. North DeSoto will clash with a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 75-40 league loss to Washington (Shreveport, LA). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 3-15.
