Charlotte Valley Wildcats (Davenport, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Walton Warriors (Walton, NY), 58-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Charlotte Valley upgrades its record to 16-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Margaretville Central (Margaretville, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Margaretville Central lost 53-52 in their recent non-league bout against Deposit-Hancock (Deposit, NY)

Next up, the Warriors play the Greene Trojans (Greene, NY) in a Section 4 Midstate bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Walton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 60-51 league win over Deposit-Hancock (Deposit, NY).
