In Friday's league match, the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes basketball team scored a tight 80-75 triumph over the Cherry Creek Bruins.

In their next game, the Buffaloes meet the Grandview Wolves (Aurora, CO) in a 6A Centennial match, on Wednesday, February 8. Smoky Hill will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 12-7 record after their 65-54 league win over Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO).

With the defeat, Cherry Creek falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Centennial challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Cherokee Trail won 72-44 in their recent league challenge against Overland (Aurora, CO)
