Maine High School Basketball - Cheverus trounces Massabesic

The Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), 96-35 in Friday's non-league test.
The Stags (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Windham (Windham, ME). The Eagles go into the AA North test with a 7-13 record.
The Mustangs now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they travel to Scarborough for a AA South test on Tuesday, February 7. Massabesic will encounter a Red Storm squad coming off a 78-61 league loss to Noble (Berwick, ME). The Red Storm record now stands at 5-12.
