Cook Inlet Academy Eagles (Soldotna, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sand Point Eagles (Sand Point, AK), 55-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cook Inlet Academy upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Tri-Valley (Healy, AK) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Tri-Valley won 59-58 in their recent non-league bout against King Cove (King Cove, AK)
