Illinois High School Basketball - Downers Grove South can't hold off Willowbrook

The Willowbrook Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Downers Grove South Mustangs to 52 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Romeoville for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Willowbrook will battle a Spartans team coming off a 68-54 league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 18-10.
The Mustangs (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 7-19 record. In their last contest, Glenbard East was nudged by Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL), 56-47, in a league contest.
