The Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Rockets basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Montezuma Braves to 72 in the Rockets non-league victory on Friday.

The Rockets now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Mahaska for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 49-46 league win over Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 14-2.

The Braves (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 13-3 record.
