Ohio High School Basketball - Upper Scioto Valley nudges Elgin

February 3, 2023: Marion, OH 43302

In Friday's league outing, the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) basketball squad nipped the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), by a margin of 59-56.

The Rams (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 10-7 record. In their last outing, Cory-Rawson got by Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 54-40, in a league outing.

The Comets now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Temple Christian for a Northwest Central outing on Friday, February 10. Elgin will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 59-50 non-league win over McComb (McComb, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-10.
