Ohio High School Basketball - Elida can't hold off Memorial

The Memorial Roughriders basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Elida Bulldogs to 51 in the Roughriders league triumph on Friday.

The Roughriders now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minster for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Memorial will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 58-47 league loss to Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-16.

The Bulldogs (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Findlay (Findlay, OH). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Findlay nudged Ross (Fremont, OH), 62-41, in a league contest.
