The Sheldon Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Exeter Tigers to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to School of the Ozarks for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Sheldon will battle a Patriots team coming off a 62-21 league win over Hurley (Hurley, MO). The Patriots record now stands at 4-9.

The Tigers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Golden City (Golden City, MO). The Eagles come into the Ozark 7 contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Golden City was defeated by Jefferson Independent Day (Joplin, MO), 54-52, in a league contest.
