Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team trounce the visiting Wellington Dukes (Wellington, OH), 61-18 in a league battle.

The Falcons now possess a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norwayne for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Firelands will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 64-21 league win over Rittman (Rittman, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 15-3.

The Dukes (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Black River (Sullivan, OH). The Pirates come into the Lorain County 8 battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Black River was overwhelmed by Clearview (Lorain, OH), 77-73, in a league battle.
