In Friday's non-league outing, the Hi-Plains Patriots (Seibert, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Flagler Panthers (Flagler, CO), by a count of 65-42.
The Patriots (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Otis (Otis, CO). The Bulldogs go into the 1A YWKC outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Otis smashed Arickaree (Anton, CO), 70-49, in a league outing.
The Panthers now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Stratton for a 2A/1A Union Pacific outing on Tuesday, February 7. Flagler will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 59-55 league win over Byers (Byers, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.
