United Christian Academy Crusaders (Stanardsville, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers (Marshall, VA), 37-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, United Christian Academy upgrades its record to 1-10 on the season. The Crusaders host Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Ridgeview Christian won 41-39 in their recent league bout against Blue Ridge Christian (Bridgewater, VA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA) in a Virginia Christian - Central bout, on Monday, February 6. Fresta Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 41-39 league loss to Ridgeview Christian (Stuarts Draft, VA).
