The Galena Bears basketball team (Galena, MO), was nudged 63-58 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Southwest Trojans (Washburn, MO)
The Trojans now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Eye for a Southwest Central battle on Tuesday, February 7. Southwest will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-30 league loss to Spokane (Spokane, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
The Bears (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sparta (Sparta, MO). The Trojans come into the Southwest Central battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Sparta edged Billings (Billings, MO), 66-35, in a league battle.
