South Dakota High School Basketball - Garretson tipped by McCook Central/Montrose

The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Garretson Blue Dragons to 45 in the Fighting Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Cougars now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanson for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. McCook Central/Montrose will meet a Beavers team coming off a 74-61 league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Beavers record now stands at 9-6.
The Blue Dragons (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Watchdogs enter the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Beresford nudged Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 63-46, in a non-league contest.
