Lakeview Sailors (Stoneboro, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting George Junior Republic (Grove City, PA), 63-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakeview upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Mercer (Mercer, PA) to play the Mustangs in a District 10 Region 2 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Mercer won 60-41 in their recent league bout against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA)
