North Woods grizzlies (Cook, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Greenway Raiders (Coleraine, MN), 87-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Woods upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The grizzlies host Blackduck (Blackduck, MN) to play the Drakes in a non-league bout on Monday, February 6. The Drakes go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Blackduck won 75-61 in their recent non-league bout against East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN)

Next up, the Raiders play the Wrenshall Wrens (Wrenshall, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Greenway will attempt to upgrade on its 2-17 season record. The Wrens go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 49-42 non-league win over McGregor (McGregor, MN).
