The Jefferson Wildcats basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Lincolnview Lancers to 25 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lima Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Jefferson will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Crestview (Convoy, OH). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-10.

The Lancers (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Paulding (Paulding, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Paulding triumphed over Tinora (Defiance, OH), 51-28, in a league contest.
