Utah High School Basketball - Union tops Manila

February 3, 2023: Manila, UT 84046

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT) and the host Manila Mustangs (Manila, UT), saw Union's basketball squad knock off Manila by a count of 61-53.

With the victory, Union upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Cougars host Grand County (Moab, UT) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Grand County lost 92-51 in their recent league challenge against Emery (Castle Dale, UT)

Next up, the Mustangs play the South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Manila will attempt to upgrade on its 15-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 72-57 league win over Ogden (Ogden, UT).
