North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Marquette Mohawks (Bellevue, IA), 95-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Linn upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season.

Next up, the Mohawks play the Easton Valley (Preston, IA) in a Big East bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 17-3 season record. The go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 51-43 non-league win over Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA).
