In Friday's league outing, the Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA), by a margin of 60-34.
The Spartans (14-6) will now prepare for their outing against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Seahorses go into the non-league outing with a 5-15 record.
The Saints now own a 5-18 record. They play next when they travel to Kellam for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 4. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 59-44 league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 11-8.
