Pattonsburg Panthers (Pattonsburg, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tri-County Mustangs (Jamesport, MO), 68-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pattonsburg upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Maysville (Maysville, MO) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Maysville won 68-59 in their recent non-league bout against Mound City/Craig (Mound City, MO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Grundy County/Newtown-Harris Panthers (Galt, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Tri-County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 20-2 record after their 70-48 non-league win over Mercer (Mercer, MO).
