Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) and the visiting St. Michael the Archangel Warriors (Fredericksburg, VA), saw Walsingham Academy's basketball squad overcome St. Michael the Archangel by a tally of 45-35.

With the victory, Walsingham Academy improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Steward (Richmond, VA) to confront the Spartans in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 15-6. Steward won 87-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Williamsburg Christian Academy Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 74-33 league win over Grove Christian School (Richmond, VA).
