The Van Meter Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Woodward-Granger Hawks to 55 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pella Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Van Meter will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-56 league loss to Pella (Pella, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-6.

The Hawks (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Collins-Maxwell-Baxter (Maxwell, IA). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record.
