The Waltham Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Westford Academy Grey Ghosts to 43 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shrewsbury for a non-league contest on Sunday, February 5. Waltham will meet a Colonials team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Burncoat (Worcester, MA). The Colonials record now stands at 4-9.

The Grey Ghosts (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Algonquin Regional was routed by Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA), 55-50, in a non-league contest.
