With the victory, Washington County upgrades its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Axtell (Axtell, KS) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 12-4.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Troy Trojans (Troy, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Wetmore will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 58-46 league win over Linn (Linn, KS).
