Nevada High School Basketball - Churchill County can't hold off Fernley

The Fernley Vaqueros basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Churchill County Greenwave to 49 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Friday.

The Vaqueros now sport a 6-1 record.

The Greenwave (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dayton (Dayton, NV). The Dust Devils enter the contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Dayton nudged Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV), 1-0, in a league contest.
