The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays basketball team (Ashland, NE), was nudged 41-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE)

The Falcon now possess a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Logan View/Scribner-Snyder for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Douglas County West will battle a team coming off a 35-32 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The record now stands at 8-12.

The Bluejays (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Conestoga (Murray, NE). The Cougars come into the C1 District 2 battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Conestoga edged Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE), 52-39, in a non-league battle.
