The Avon Falcons topped the visiting Platt Panthers basketball team by a final score of 46-37 in Friday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Hall Titans (West Hartford, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial game, on Monday, February 6. Avon will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record.
With the defeat, Platt moves to 5-11 on the year. The Panthers travel to Maloney (Meriden, CT) to face the Spartans in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial game on Monday, February 6. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 5-9. Maloney lost 46-40 in their recent non-league game against East Catholic (Manchester, CT)
