In Friday's non-league outing, the Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tyrone Golden Eagles (Tyrone, PA), by a margin of 61-24.

The Mountaineers (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD). The Miners go into the non-league outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Mountain Ridge smashed Keyser (Keyser, WV), 48-35, in a league outing.

The Golden Eagles now own a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bellefonte for a Mountain outing on Monday, February 6. Tyrone will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 48-39 league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-15.
