In Friday's league outing, the Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY), by a count of 56-34.
The Eagles (15-2) will now prepare for their outing against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen go into the Section 2 Suburban outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Shenendehowa was crushed by Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY), 60-43, in a league outing.
The Blue Devils now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Guilderland for a Section 2 Suburban outing on Tuesday, February 7. Columbia will clash with a Flying Dutchman squad coming off a 69-57 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Flying Dutchman record now stands at 8-10.
