McPherson Bullpups (McPherson, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Collegiate Spartans (Wichita, KS), 69-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McPherson upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bullpups host Hays (Hays, KS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Hays lost 37-36 in their recent non-league bout against Dodge City (Dodge City, KS)

Next up, the Spartans play the Rose Hill Rockets (Rose Hill, KS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
