Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) and the host Telstar Rebels (Bethel, ME), saw Dirigo's basketball squad knock off Telstar by a count of 58-38.

With the victory, Dirigo upgrades its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Mountain Valley (Rumford, ME) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Mountain Valley lost 58-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Carrabec (North Anson, ME)

Next up, the Rebels play the Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME) in a C South challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Telstar will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 59-37 non-league win over Forest Hills (Jackman, ME).
