Maine High School Basketball - Thornton Academy thwarts Edward Little

The Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Edward Little Red Eddies (Auburn, ME), 50-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Scots go into the AA South test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Bonny Eagle went down by Sanford (Sanford, ME), 57-47, in a league test.
The Red Eddies now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Bangor for a AA North test on Tuesday, February 7. Edward Little will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 46-30 league win over Hampden (Hampden, ME). The Rams record now stands at 11-2.
