Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT) and the visiting Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad overcome Greenwich by a tally of 40-27.

With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to McMahon (Norwalk, CT) to confront the Senators in a Fairfield County challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Senators come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. McMahon lost 61-40 in their recent league challenge against Staples (Westport, CT)

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Greenwich will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 62-18 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT).
