The Lawson Cardinals basketball team (Lawson, MO), was overwhelmed 59-28 in Friday's league battle with the visiting North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO)
The Panthers now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lathrop for a KCI battle on Tuesday, February 7. North Platte will confront a Mules team coming off a 47-23 league loss to West Platte (Weston, MO). The Mules record now stands at 12-8.
The Cardinals (13-8) will now prepare for their battle against Penney (Hamilton, MO). The Hornets come into the KCI battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, Penney was overwhelmed by Gallatin (Gallatin, MO), 66-40, in a non-league battle.
