The Millington Cardinals basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals to 36 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Lothrop for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Millington will meet a Hornets team coming off a 36-25 league win over Chesaning (Chesaning, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 9-5.

The Cardinals (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Owls enter the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Oscoda was nudged by Alcona (Lincoln, MI), 43-37, in a league contest.
