High School Basketball - New Hope Christian Academy nips Varsity Opponent

New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen (Circleville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 72-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Hope Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Statesmen travel to Ohio Eagles (Harrod, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Ohio Eagles lost 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Temple Christian (Mansfield, OH)

Next up, the play the Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 139-373 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 18-3 record after their 43-28 league win over The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA).
