The West Elk Patriots (Howard, KS) basketball crushed the host Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, KS), 54-27 in Friday's non-league test.
The Patriots (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Udall (Udall, KS). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Udall was trounced by Sedan (Sedan, KS), 55-45, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Argonia for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 7. Oxford will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 35-26 non-league win over Dexter (Dexter, KS). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-8.
