South Dakota High School Basketball - Yankton overwhelmed by Riggs

The Riggs Governors basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Yankton Bucks/Gazelles to 18 in the Governors league victory on Friday.

The Governors now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huron for a AA contest on Tuesday, February 7. Riggs will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-38 league win over Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.

The Bucks/Gazelles (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Raiders come into the AA contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Stevens was routed by Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD), 45-32, in a league contest.
