The Riverdale Mavericks basketball team (Portland, OR), was routed 51-11 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Vale Vikings (Vale, OR)
The Vikings now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a 3A Eastern Oregon battle on Friday, February 3. Vale will battle a Pirates team coming off a 46-34 league loss to Nyssa (Nyssa, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 7-13.
The Mavericks (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Corbett (Corbett, OR). The Cardinals come into the 3A Coastal Range battle with a 18-3 record. In their last battle, Corbett trounced Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR), 63-38, in a league battle.
