The Solon Comets (Solon, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Joseph Academy Jaguars (Cleveland, OH), 53-43 in Friday's non-league test.
The Comets (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Euclid (Euclid, OH). The Panthers go into the Greater Cleveland test with a 2-18 record. In their last test, Euclid went down by Strongsville (Strongsville, OH), 60-30, in a league test.
The Jaguars now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Elyria Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 8. St. Joseph Academy will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Medina (Medina, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 18-4.
