Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Newnan will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record.
The Bears now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Westside for a 4A Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, February 8. Griffin will confront a Seminoles team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-1.
