The Sweetwater Red Devils soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting Coastal Academy Stingrays to 0 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Red Devils face the Mar Vista Mariners (Imperial Beach, CA) in a Metro South Bay contest, on Tuesday, February 7. Sweetwater will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Mariners enter the contest with a 7-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA).
The Stingrays now have a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Maranatha Christian for a Ocean contest on Wednesday, February 8. Coastal Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 league win over Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-7.
