Fans at Friday's league challenge between the East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) and the visiting Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA), saw East Laurens's basketball squad knock off Bleckley County by a count of 53-37.

With the victory, East Laurens upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Royals play the Telfair County Trojans (McRae, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Bleckley County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Bleckley County (Cochran, GA).
