New York High School Basketball - Spackenkill overwhelms Mount Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) and the host Mount Academy Eagles (Esopus, NY), saw Spackenkill's basketball squad wallop Mount Academy by a count of 61-23.
With the victory, Spackenkill upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Onteora (Boiceville, NY) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Onteora lost 60-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Ellenville (Ellenville, NY)
Next up, the Eagles play the Ellenville Blue Devils (Ellenville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Mount Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
