Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN), 73-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Apple Valley upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Eagles host Shakopee (Shakopee, MN) to play the Sabers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Shakopee won 85-60 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN)
Next up, the Lakers play the Edison Tommies (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Minneapolis Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record.
