In Saturday's non-league outing, the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE) basketball squad edged the host Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE), by a count of 49-44.
The Bluejays (8-11) will now prepare for their outing against Pender (Pender, NE). The Pendragons go into the non-league outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Pender held off Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family (Humphrey, NE), 53-26, in a non-league outing.
The Braves now hold a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Catholic for a C2 District 8 outing on Thursday, February 8.
