Wahoo Warriors (Wahoo, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE), 81-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Wahoo upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Platteview (Springfield, NE) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Platteview won 66-31 in their recent non-league bout against Ralston (Ralston, NE)

Next up, the Orangemen play the Lincoln Christian Crusaders (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Beatrice will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 82-78 non-league win over Aquinas (David City, NE).
