In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) basketball squad nipped the host Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN), by a margin of 71-66.
The Bombers (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets go into the non-league outing with a 7-13 record. In their last outing, Kasson-Mantorville got by Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN), 88-58, in a non-league outing.
The Eskomos now own a 14-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pequot Lakes for a AA Section 7 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Esko will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 72-58 non-league win over St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Patriots record now stands at 15-2.
